Fully Dentate

Please choose this section if your patient is fully Dentate on one or both arches. If one arch is not Dentate, then you will have to use the appropriate protocol for that particular arch.

Partially -Edentulous

Please use this section if your patient is partially edentulous. Some of these patients may have partial dentures. If the VDO is collapsed or not ideal, the correct VDO will need to be established prior to starting with the restorative process.

Edentulous with Denture

If the patient wears a denture it is important that it is used, fit and esthetic does not matter at this point. The denture will be used as a guide in the design of your patient’s new smile.

Edentulous without Denture

Please use this section if your patient is fully edentulous and does not own a denture. You will have to establish the VDO before starting the restorative process.

Edentulous with Existing Implants and Denture

If the patient wears an implant supported denture such as Locator, Ball Attachment, Conus, and others, evaluate to ensure that there is enough restorative space. If treating an upper arch, make sure to establish the transition line and the restorative space before starting the restorative process. Use the existing appliance as a guide regardless of esthetic and fit.

Edentulous with Existing Implants without Denture

If treating an upper arch, make sure to establish the transition line and the restorative space before starting the restorative process. If treating the lower arch, make sure to establish the restorative space. You will have to establish the VDO before starting the restorative process.
